On February 27, 2023, a lecture-seminar "Oil extraction, processing and related environmental protection issues" was held at Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum.
Chemistry teacher, the member of the Integrated Department of Natural and Mathematical Sciences Eter Shavadze conducted a lecture-seminar for 11th grade students.
At the seminar, the students learned about and analyzed the environmental risks of oil extraction, transportation and use. After the presentation, the young people discussed the mentioned problem.
The mentioned activity was carried out according to the school project plan, which is in the direction of environmental protection.
